About Us

The Southern Underground is at the forefront of extreme action sports and production. If there’s something worth showing to you that is exciting and breath-taking, we are the ones who will bring it to your attention.

Jacob Rosenson

jacobsPhotographer & Vlogger

Countries filmed: New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, Italy, Norway, Uganda, Zambia, Nicaragua, Nepal, Thailand.

With a formal education in Event Management, Jacob branched off into the world of adventure sports with his trusty sidekick – a Canon EOS 300D. He and his sidekick blazed through much of Australia and New Zealand filming, capturing and exploring the sights and sounds. Being an adventure junkie he loved his underwater clicks, high altitude dives and practically anything that a normal human being would find challenging. Then in 2008 he was approached by a kayaking group to film and document their journey through the white waters of New Zealand. His love affair with production began.

Stephie Fox

stephieVisual Media Producer

Countries filmed in: Canada, New Zealand, Costa Rica, USA, Thailand, Australia, Chile, Argentina.

Stephie grew up in Ontario, Canada and has also spent the past 5 years traveling the world kayaking.  Along with a few friends from the Ottawa valley Stephie started ‘Bottoms Up Kayaking’ to produce their kayaking films.  Some of these projects have been in conjunction with SUP videography.

Stephie has recently come on board to help shoot alongside Jacob in the S.U.Promotional side of the business.

Timothy Reed

timothyBlogger & Bike Enthusiast

Countries filmed: New Zealand, Australia, Hungary, Germany, Austria

Traveling by road is what pumps up the adrenalin with Timothy. An avid biker, he loves his Triumph Street Triple and uses it as an inspiration in any pictures he takes or blogs about. Always seen on a computer screen typing away like crazy or on his bike riding away like a man possessed – he is the word genius of the team. Being the youngest he naturally is the most loved in the team and also the most hardworking too. Southern Underground Club would not have been the same without him.
